The government predicted that about 925,000 additional labor providers will benefit from industrial accident insurance due to the abolition of the exclusive nature of industrial accident insurance and the expansion of applicable occupations. The employer shall report the income of the labor provider generated from July to the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, and the industrial accident insurance premium shall be borne by the labor provider and the employer in half. Meanwhile, the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service operates an insurance premium reduction system for some occupations to support small businesses and labor providers who complain of insurance premiums due to the expansion of industrial accident insurance for labor providers.

Industrial accident insurance premiums for special types of workers
Industrial accident insurance premiums for special-type workers are calculated by multiplying the monthly remuneration announced by the Minister of Employment and Labor by the industrial accident insurance premium rate of the relevant project.
